- Ross Bauer probably is an able financial advisor but his ethics are questionable. He recommended investing in a fund based on the generous commission he received. The fund eventually went under, freezing all money for 5 years while bankruptcy proceedings went on. This fund was discovered to be a hedge fund which was an inappropriate investment decision as we wished a conservative approach to our investing.
